Ever since Shanna photographed this spectacular wedding I couldn’t wait to feature it for her. There was just something so captivating about it – not only the gorgeous couple, beautiful setting and bridal party, but the BOUGAINVILLEA!! Out of this world beautiful!

As it is currently Bougainvillea season in South Africa – where this wedding was held and actually where I grew up, I thought it a good time to share… whist those in the sunny South are currently enjoying dancing in the blooms of the Bougainvillea season and us in the North needing some bright, colourful bloom inspiration! Bougainvillea hold many special memories for me, as I’m sure they do for many from those parts of the world. Such vibrant, joyful blooms.
